available in flatwork. Branching out on his own, Flatcon was started up in 2006 by Felice (Phil) Troilo. The idea was to maintain a core of dedicated, competent personnel and thereby be able to offer the top in quality work. By supplying the best of service, personnel, equipment, and competitive pricing, Flatcon has achieved a respected name in the Flatwork industry.
A decision was made in 2008 to step up a level with the company and a plan was initiated to obtain both Cor and Canqual recognitions for the company. An independent Safety Consultant was retained to assist, and a Safety Management system complete with a manual is also in the process of being developed. Key employees are being trained at ACSA in various safety, quality, and leadership courses. Flatcon is also creating a Quality Control program that will aid Flatcon in reaching the desired level in the industry, and show we truly are the leaders in Placing & Finishing companies as we go into the future. The time line to achieve these goals is early summer 2008.
